I was inspired by the switch plate that I saw at my friend’s house and thought of buying a unique one for our house. Hers were matching colors with the wallpaper on her house and it compliments well because you don’t even know it is there. Some friends think that it was a bad idea because they don’t recognize which is which but I liked it and got my inspiration for it. I asked her politely where she bought them to not look like I was going to copy her idea but she was glad that I find it amusing and that was a relief. It was one of the many ideas I will have in then future for home decorating.
I was thinking of putting up an aspen furniture like a swing in our outdoor so that my kids will have a pas time when they are outside or for me and hubby when we just want to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. I saw this in a home designing website and it captured my attention because it was made of wood but woods that are cool to the eyes and looks elegant whatever place you put it in. My sister also did the same thing because she said, it will look good on anything.
Weekend is fast approaching and I can’t help but be excited about it. I am going to shop for some fine linens ann gish. It is my favorite brand and I love it when I sleep on it. I wasn’t sure if giving address plaques for house of my sister will be a better gift than some usual housewarming presents. I know it’s not the common gift but I want my sister to have a taste of different gifts on this day. The house was made for all the hard work she did after taking care of us when we were kids. I know that her friends and other people will give her the common presents so might as well give her a different one for her to appreciate it more.
I went to the grocery this morning to buy some food to fill up my fridge. I totally forgot that I am running out of milk so that is one of the reason I went there in spite of some paper works to do. While walking close to the door step I was smelling something odd from the inside of the house. I opened the door and it was actually some cat litters spread all over my fireplace mantel. I just cleaned them yesterday! Because I had a lot of things on my mind, I actually forgot to put my cat into her room. Now I was left with some cleaning to do and later, my paper works. What a day!
When I was a kid, I always see my dad bringing a utility knife every time we would go out. I used to ask him what it was but he just ignore me. When I grew up, I have learned that it’s for our protection. He said that it will make him feel safe having that knife with him. He told me to always bring a knife when I entered college because we’ll never know what will happen but he also told me to use it just when I need it. since then, I always bring my knife with me and I felt safe as well.

I have noticed that my toilets do not look good anymore because It looks dirty and it destroys my bathroom. I thought that I just need to have it repaired but I have realized that I should I have a new one so I have decided to get a new toilet that would fit my bathroom. I checked some magazines and even the internet to look for a good but cheap toilet. After picking up my choice, I already had it installed and I am so happy to see my new toilet that is working very good and looks good as well.
